It's the most tranquil painting I created for the Colorful Horizons collection. Gentle is a pastel elixir of a landscape, an impressionist style watercolor that brings together mostly pink and pale gray on the bottom half with mostly pale blue and silver gray (with touches of pink) on the upper half to form a peaceful, soothing landscape.

At the horizon line, a vibrant shell pink brushstroke suggests the clouds parting as the day begins, with the Sun nearly ready to rise over the horizon.
