Buying Art: Original Art Sales Policy

We offer beautiful original paintings and mixed media art.

All pieces are made by hand, by artist Anne Nordhaus-Bike.

Artwork Comes Ready To Hang Or Display

All artwork comes ready to hang or display so you can enjoy it immediately in your home or office.

For paintings, that means each painting comes custom framed with hanging wire and other hardware on the back; for mixed media art, that means each piece has some type of hanging mechanism (either hanging wire or a handmade equivalent) or else is freestanding as a type of sculpture.

Custom Framing For Original Paintings

All paintings come custom framed:

  • Some paintings shown on this website such as the Colorful Horizons series, already are framed. They feature fully custom, premium quality frames and mats. See the artwork descriptions for each piece for full details on framing.
  • Other paintings are available with our "You Choose" frame service. When you purchase one of these paintings, you get to choose among several solid wood frame options with different finishes, from metallics to classic black or white to a range of natural woods from light to dark. Simply select your frame color/finish when ordering, and we work with one of our framing specialists to have your beautiful artwork custom framed for you in the frame color/finish of your choice.

Original Art: All Sales Are Final

For original art, each sale is final.

We take every precaution in packaging and shipping to ensure your beautiful artwork comes to you in excellent condition. When your artwork arrives, please take your time unpacking it and exercise care in handling, moving, and hanging it.

NOTE: If the shipping process affects the original artwork you ordered, please contact us immediately so we can help.

Do take photos to show us what's happened. We need documentation and may need other information in order to follow up with the shipper and insurer.
