FINAL WEEKS-See Backyard Bunny Watercolor

FINAL WEEKS-See Backyard Bunny Watercolor

We had a great time at the artists' reception for Midwest Nature last month.

It was a beautiful event in a gracious setting: the photo above was taken at the opening, and you can see how the gallery reflects the Mayslake Peabody Estate's historical look and feel. Also, it gives you an idea of the lush natural setting surrounding the estate, which sits in the middle of a forest preserve.

Exhibit Closes Soon: Go See It While It's Still Up

The Midwest Nature exhibit will close soon, so do check out the show while it's still up.

It runs only through end of day on Saturday, July 26.

When you get there, you can enjoy my bunny painting along with many other artworks. (Backyard Bunny has been a big hit with visitors, so I hope you'll get to see this fun painting.)

Great Way To Recharge On A Summer Day

It's been hot and humid in the Chicago area this summer.

An art show in a beautiful setting is the perfect way to get in out of the heat and recharge. Drink in the beauty and peace and come away renewed and uplifted.

Shop For Gifts: Art Makes A Perfect Gift

Most of the art in the show is for sale.

Art makes a perfect gift for that special someone on your list (or for yourself). This is your chance to acquire a memorable piece of art that will bring happiness for years to come.

Exhibit Hours, Details

To enjoy the show, go to Mayslake Peabody Estate, located at 1717 31st St. in Oak Brook, IL.

The gallery hosting the show is open Monday through Friday, noon to 3 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is closed Sundays.
