It's almost time!

We've been working for months, preparing to bring an entire booth of my paintings to the West Loop Contemporary Fine Art Expo.

And now, we're nearly there.

Here are the show dates and times:

• Friday October 17, 7 to 10 p.m. - VIP first look preview, includes hors d'oeuvres and cash bar
• Saturday, October 18,  11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, October 19, open starting at 11 a.m. PLUS special "art lovers & Bears fans" extended hours: post game hours until 7 p.m.

Daily attendance is limited based on the venue's size and capacity. To ensure your entry to the show, you can order tickets in advance at the Art Expo event page on Eventbrite.

Sneak Preview: Watercolors (And Seasonal Surprises)

For the first time, I will present a large selection of my paintings in person in a curated set of collections:

1. I'll be showcasing two colorful watercolor collections: flower paintings on exquisite handmade Asian papers (first time showing these pieces!) as well as semi-abstract landscapes on beautiful, classic Western watercolor papers. Both feature premium professional framing, including one-of-a-kind frames and mats for many of the artworks to bring out each painting's special beauty and spirit.
2. Also, come celebrate the spooky season with my Halloween/Day Of The Dead collection of (mostly) skull and bone watercolors. If you like "the dark side" shown in works like The Killing Field (currently on view at Bridgeport Art Center's Mystical, Magical, & Macabre show), you'll love these hauntingly beautiful works.
   
3. In addition, for the first time in decades, I'm bringing out a curated set of intriguing, colorful paintings "from the vault" that haven't been exhibited in many years. These pieces have a storied provenance, having been shown in many exhibits when I first painted them. Most recently, they've graced the walls of my home (when you come to the expo, ask me about the powder room paintings!), so they carry all the lovely energy of my life as an artist.

I'm looking forward to seeing you (come to Booth No. 7!) and sharing all these wonderful paintings. Each piece will be professionally framed, so all artwork will be ready to hang in your home or office.

LOCATION: The West Loop Contemporary Fine Art Expo will be held in the auditorium of Plumbers Hall, an historic Beaux Arts building in Chicago's trendy and conveniently located West Loop, near the Randolph Street "Restaurant Row." The venue is located at 1350 W. Washington Blvd.

PARKING: Convenient parking garage is located next door to the expo venue.
