Anne returns to Frank Fontana’s “Design Dude” show this Saturday, Dec. 21, the day of this year’s Winter Solstice (in the southern hemisphere, that day brings the Summer Solstice). Tune in to WGN Radio AM 720 Chicago—online or on your radio—on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. to hear Frank and Anne talk about Winter Solstice 2013 and the importance of light for interior decor as part of their popular “Designing With The Stars” segment on Fontana’s top-rated show.
Astrology and Winter Decor
As on earlier shows, the program will focus on how to use astrology to create your perfect decor, especially during special seasons of the year such as the Winter Solstice. Anne and Frank will talk about how your Sun sign can help you make great design choices to enjoy a beautiful Solstice and winter season.
They also will talk about lighting for home decor as well as the spiritual significance of light. Besides offering ideas to help listeners take a new look their current home lighting choices, Frank and Anne will discuss light and its importance for the inner, spiritual home. By thinking about their Sun signs in terms of light, listeners can make new choices for home lighting and overall decor that reflect their unique personality and spirituality.
“So many cultures celebrate major holidays around the Solstice,” Anne said. “Much of the symbolism of such holidays has to do with light because, here in the northern hemisphere, the Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year and therefore the time of least outer light. That makes this a wonderful time to think about the importance of light for our physical survival as well as the importance of the inner light in our spiritual lives.”
